HUGE UPDATE

I need to update.....A LOT

Doctor's appt on Monday, April 12th, I was dialated to 1 and a half and 50% effaced.......... they scheduled another U/S this last Monday. The U/S tech says Ellie has quite a bit of hair, chubby cheeks, and is about 7lbs 10oz. I was dilated 2cm and still about 50%. He says this coming Monday they can strip my membranes if I want.........umm...still debating! haha...kind of scared!



My mom made super cute paintings on canvases for Ellie's nursery. She also helped to recover and redo her old rocking chair she gave me :) THEY TURNED OUT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! I am so excited to get the nursery all together.She also made a cute flower "light" garland...I think Becky helped? It's SOOO cute!! I love my mom sooo much and she is soooo stinkin' talented. I LOVE everything she has done so far and am so grateful she is helping me get it all together. The quilt is just soooo cute and amazing. I love appliques and she appliqued the whole panel. She has put in soooo much work into these that I probably will be paranoid about Ellie dirtying them, lol. BUT they are so special to me right now and I know will be even more special when Ellie is older! Thank you soooooooooo much mom!!! I really have the best mom EVER!











THEN I had my baby shower March 27th that Nanna threw for me!! Thank you SOOO much Nanna! I was sooo shocked at how many people came. It was sooo much fun to see everyone and catch up. It was a LOT of fun. I also got really REALLY cute stuff and stuff I need. I look in Ellie's closet and see the HUGE stack of diapers and wipes and get a huge smile on my face :) ..... and then all the cute outfits make me want her to come faster!!! Thanks to you all who came and for everything!! It was sooo fun to see you all!






















THEN I had a ward baby shower that Susie Shepard threw for me April 17th.... (Thanks Susie, so much, although you don't read my blog.) I was kind of dreading it at first when she asked if she could throw me one because, those of you who know me really good, I don't like parties being thrown for just me. I don't like the attention at all and get super nervous....and because I already had one, I felt like it might make me look greedy! and because I am still kind of shy in the ward, I thought I would be nervous the whole time. So I worried about it for like two weeks, then as it got closer I actually started to get a little excited. It was just a small one, but it was sooo much fun. I kind of like it better that way. I got to talk to some other ladies in the ward and just had sooo much fun getting to know them more. It was a lot of fun and now I don't think I will be as shy in the future when talking to them. I have such an awesome ward and everyone has been soooo nice since we have moved in!

Last Friday night Dave and Natalie Reheis invited us to a little get together at Skyline park and that was a lot of fun. I got to catch up and talk alot to friends. Pigged out on pizza and played with the little kids while those who wanted to be athletic went and played volleyball. (Sam had a lot of fun too..... he is the active, sport lover...not me...lol...) but it was fun getting together!

After that we visited Becky and Trav and watched some SNL skits and played Balderdash, laughing at some of the stupidest stuff until like 2 am. SOOOO much fun! We used to do that a lot when we lived in Florence, close to them. It is sooo nice to have them live closer!!!

I have been working CRAZY busy to get ETSY ready for Becky and I to go into labor so my mom can stay caught up and not have to do too much....Becky is, too. We are getting our stock up nice and are ahead!...which means I had time to finish Nanna's and Linda's purses...YAY!!! I am soo excited to give them to them. They are turning out soooo DANG cute!! Hope you both like them!

Oh and here are th curtains I made for the kitchen.........I LOVE them!!!
